Cybereason Named to the Prestigious Forbes 2022 Cloud 100

Aug 9, 2022

Cybereason, the XDR company, today announced it has been named to the exclusive Forbes 2022 Cloud 100, the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, published by Forbes in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.

“Joining other top private companies on the Forbes 2022 Cloud 100 further validates what sets Cybereason apart from our competitors, empowering Defenders to understand in real-time. Cybereason delivers the full scope of a cyberattack through our AI-driven MalOp™ (malicious operation) detection engine so Defenders can take immediate action to remediate threats. Outthinking and outpacing nation-state sponsored and cybercriminals actors is what enables Cybereason to continue empowering Defenders at both public and private sector organizations,” said Lior Div, Cybereason’s CEO and Co-founder.

Additional highlights of the exponential growth Cybereason has experienced in recent months include:

--Being named to CNBC’s 10th Annual CNBC Disruptor 50 list of the most innovative privately held global companies. This was the second consecutive year Cybereason was named a Disruptor. More than 1600 nominations were accepted.

--CEO and Co-founder Lior Div was named an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2022 New England Award winner.

--Achieving the best results in the history of the MITRE Engenuity ATT&CK® Evaluations for Enterprise, scoring 100% in Prevention, 100% in Visibility and 100% in Real-Time Protection.

--The release of the groundbreaking research Operation CuckooBees that detailed the full playbook of a massive Chinese-sponsored intellectual property theft operation that had remained undetected since at least 2019.

--Launching the Cyber Defenders Council, a group of preeminent CISOs and security leaders from public and private sector organizations across North America, EMEA and APAC, including the CISOs from The Kraft Heinz Company, TikTok, GE Healthcare, Colgate-Palmolive Company and many more.

“The companies of the Cloud 100 list represent the best and brightest private companies in this fast-growing sector,” said Alex Konrad, senior editor at Forbes. “Every year, it gets more difficult to make this list — meaning even more elite company for those who do. Congratulations to each of the 2022 Cloud 100 honorees.”

For the seventh straight year, the Cloud 100 reviews submissions from hundreds of cloud startups and private companies each year. The Cloud 100 evaluation process involved ranking companies across four factors: market leadership (35%), estimated valuation (30%), operating metrics (20%), and people & culture (15%). For market leadership, the Cloud 100 enlists the help of a judging panel of public cloud company CEOs who assist in evaluating and ranking their private company peers.
