Cybereason, the XDR company, today named entrepreneur and cybersecurity pioneer Zohar Alon as President of Cybereason Israel to oversee Product and R&D. He joins Cybereason with more than 25 years of industry experience and will be responsible for driving product strategy for the company’s defense platform, which includes industry-leading XDR, EDR and EPP solutions.
Alon joins Cybereason to support the company’s global growth and advance its innovation. The company recently secured $100 million in funding with SoftBank Corp. and announced its placement by Gartner, Inc. as a Leader in the 2022 Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms. Coupled with the company’s historic success in the 2022 MITRE ATT&CK evaluations, the company is trusted throughout the world to end modern cyber attacks.
Alon is a cyber security pioneer, serial entrepreneur and investor. As one of the early employees at Check Point, Zohar created Provider-1, the first security management solution for MSSPs. Zohar was also a founder of Dome9 Security, which defined and led the Cloud Security Posture Management category before it was acquired by Check Point in 2018. Zohar additionally provides his guidance and expertise as a board member for several cyber security companies including FireFly, Blindspot Security, Adaptive Shield, Tamnoon and Holistic Cyber.
