Today, he serves as the CEO and Founder of NightDragon Security, a dedicated Cybersecurity investment and advisor firm.

Robert Bigman

Former CISO for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)

Robert Bigman retired from the CIA after serving a 30-year distinguished career, where he developed technical measures and procedures to manage the nation’s most sensitive secrets. Bigman worked in every area of information and data security, and as the Agency's CISO, Bigman also managed technical and program officers responsible for the protection of all Agency information and his responsibilities included cryptography, information security policy/processes, standards and requirements, testing, and network defense/response.

Pinhas Buchris

Founder and Managing Partner at State of Mind Ventures

Pinhas is a recognised leader in the development of Israel’s military intelligence, cyber and technology capabilities (Ret. Brig. General) and an experienced investor. He was Managing Director of the Israeli Ministry of Defence, Commander of a classified technology unit, and Head of the prestigious 8200 division - Israel’s signal processing intelligence unit - where he initiated many of Israel’s cyber programs. Pinhas was a Partner with Apax Partners and served as a mentor to several successful cyber technology startups.

Edward Davis is the President and CEO of Edward Davis, LLC, a security and strategy firm. Davis is former Police Commissioner of the Boston Police Department, served on the Police Executive Research Forum's Board of Directors, and was a founding member and first President of the Massachusetts Major City Chiefs Association. He has worked as an advisor to the Chicago Police and is a member of the Federal Court Monitor team for the NYC Police Department.

Patrick Ennis

Patrick is a venture partner at Madrona Venture Group. His career has spanned venture capital and science and he has done business in 31 countries. Patrick has held senior positions at AT&T Bell Labs, ARCH Ventures and Intellectual Ventures. He has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards. Patrick is an inventor on several patents and the author of many research articles. He has a PhD and MS in Physics from Yale, an MBA from Wharton and a BS in Math and Physics from William and Mary.

Gerhard Eschelbeck

Vice President Security and Privacy Engineering at Google

Gerhard Eschelbeck is Vice President Security and Privacy Engineering at Google, where he leads the teams that ensure data and systems security, as well as user privacy. He published the “Laws of Vulnerabilities” and is one of the inventors of the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), and holds numerous patents in the field of managed network security. Prior to joining Google, Gerhard was CTO and Senior Vice President at Sophos and Qualys, and served in senior product and technology roles at companies including Network Associates and McAfee.

Mike Gordon

Deputy CISO at Lockheed Martin

Mike Gordon currently serves as the Deputy CISO and Director of Intelligence & Operations within Lockheed Martin’s Corporate Information Security organization. Mike is responsible for the overall Computer Network Defense (CND) of the Lockheed Martin computing infrastructure. Mike co-founded the Defense Security Information Exchange (DSIE) and has served as the organization’s Vice Chairman since its inception where he oversees strategy and operations.

As CISO for Virtusa, Kugan has led Virtusa’s effort to strengthen their cyber defense and response mechanisms to protect Virtusa and their customers’ data from ever-increasing cyber threats.

Mike Makowka has over 17 years of professional experience with an emphasis on information technology and security of enterprise systems in state government, federal government, and commercial organizations. He is currently the CISO at LEO Cyber Security and is responsible for developing, driving, and maintaining the success of the organization’s security program. He has a Master’s of Science in Information Security and Assurance and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Seth McCallister

Seth McCallister has spent the previous 20 years working in information technology with a focus on information security. Seth has worked in a wide range of business environments that span technology, financial services, consumer packaged goods and government. Seth currently works at HUB International where he serves as the Chief Information Security Officer. In his role, he is shaping the current and future information security and compliance strategy for Hub International.

Nick Percoco

Chief Security Officer at Kraken & Founder of THOTCON

With nearly 20 years of information security expertise, Nick Percoco is adept at developing security programs in this ever-evolving connected threat landscape. He co-founded the “I am The Cavalry” movement, a highly regarded grassroots hacker organization focused on issues where computer security intersect public safety, and also founded SpiderLabs, the ethical hacking test lab. Nick was the creator of THOTCON, an annual Chicago hacking conference. Nick has served as a media spokesperson on CNN, Fox News, CNET and Forbes.

Richard Rushing

Richard Rushing participates in corporate, community, and government security councils and working groups, setting standards and policies for current and emerging security issues. As CISO for Motorola Mobility, he has developed an international team to tackle targeted attacks and emerging threats. He has organized, developed, and deployed practices, tools, and techniques to protect the enterprise's IP worldwide. A much-in-demand speaker on information security, Rushing has spoken at many of the leading security conferences and seminars around the world.

Peter Sherlock

Former COO at MITRE

Peter Sherlock is a consultant and advisor to companies on cybersecurity, technology and management. He has led small and large organizations applying leading-edge technologies (in networking, security, software, data analytics…) to the most challenging problems. He served as MITRE’s COO as well as SVP responsible for MITRE’s defense and intelligence work. Earlier, he led Motorola Broadband’s network infrastructure business. An active supporter of the Boston tech community, he was appointed to the Massachusetts Cybersecurity Strategy Council and Digital Health Council.

Herman Young

Herman Young is an Information Security Executive with over 20 years of experience in both offensive and defensive disciplines across a wide variety of industries. He uses this experience in his current role as Group CISO for Investec, where he leads the Cyber Security team and coordinates Information Security across the group. Herman serves as a strategic advisor to a few niche startups and is actively involved in threat intelligence sharing initiatives across Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
