Case Study: How Cybereason MDR Improved Olist’s Triage & Response Time

Olist, a Brazilian e-commerce marketplace integrator, is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce platforms in the world. Last year, for example, it closed four acquisitions and tripled in size. Today, it is rapidly expanding beyond Brazil.

With more than 1,100 employees and 2,100 endpoints to defend, Olist struggled to gain visibility into the attack surface, suffered from alert overload, and needed more staff to investigate and respond to incidents promptly.

The Olist cybersecurity team was overwhelmed by more than 40,000 alerts per month. There was no way to know for sure which alerts were real, which were false positives, and which needed immediate attention. It took Olist analysts more than 24 hours to investigate and remediate an incident. With Cybereason Managed Detection and Response (MDR), the Olist security team shortened their triage and remediation times to less than 30 minutes.
