Cybereason Expands its Senior Management Team

Distinguished Technology Industry Leaders in Finance and Operations Hired

Cybereason today announced that several technology industry executives have joined the company as part of its expanded finance and operations team and will be based in the company's Boston headquarters. Joining the company are Scott Ward as chief financial officer, Jonathan Shapira as vice president and general counsel, Emmy Linder as vice president of strategy and growth and Andy Thompson as vice president of customer success. This team has decades of experience working in the technology industry.

About the Hires

Scott Ward joins Cybereason as chief financial officer with extensive hands­ on experience in financial and operational management for venture­backed startups and growth companies looking to achieve global scale. Most recently, Scott led all finance and administrative functions at Nanigans, a leader in the advertising automation space.

Jonathan Shapira joins Cybereason as vice president and general counsel to the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance, commercial contracts, privacy and data security and other corporate matters.  Prior to joining Cybereason, Jonathan was a corporate attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, where he represented technology companies from startup through their acquisition or initial public offering and beyond.

Emmy Linder joins Cybereason as vice president of strategy and growth. Prior to joining the company, she worked for The Boston Consulting Group, one of the world's largest consulting firms, where she held many leadership positions across product, project management and organizational design. Emmy began her career in the military forces where she commanded a 24/7 intelligence team.

Andy Thompson joins Cybereason as vice president of customer success with a wealth of experience building enterprise customer success teams with high growth tech companies. Most recently, he served as vice president of global solutions at Apperian, an enterprise mobile application management and security platform where he orchestrated pre­-sales, client success and support. Prior to Apperian, he spent five years with LogMeIn where he grew the customer support and success model from a very early stage through a successful IPO.
