KuppingerCole Analysts, a leading international analyst firm headquartered in Europe, named Cybereason an Overall Leader in the 2022 KuppingerCole Leadership Compass for vendors in the Endpoint Protection, Detection and Response (EPDR) market. The Overall Leadership ranking provides a combined view of ratings across Product, Innovation, and Market Leadership categories.
The report specifically noted Cybereason’s product and innovation leadership, which positions the company for significant market growth. The Cybereason Defense Platform earned “strong positive” ratings across the board in security, deployment, usability, and innovativeness. The report also gave positive ratings for Cybereason’s functionality, interoperability, ecosystem, financial strength, and market position:

Cybereason is a leader in EPDR innovation, which KuppingerCole defines as the use of advanced malware identification technologies and deep learning detection models, intuitive interfaces for investigation, the ability to construct playbooks for remediation, workflow, and case management, and integration with customers’ security architecture.
The report states that the Cybereason Defense Platform's “dashboards are intuitive to follow and use and are customizable.” KuppingerCole Analysts also provided high marks for Cybereason’s “well-designed” and configurable admin/analyst interface and playbook recommendations based on malicious operation (MalOp) context.
“Organizations that are looking for full EPDR solutions with excellent threat hunting facilities should consider Cybereason,” the report states.
