Cybereason and Observe Launch New SDR Solution, Converging SIEM and XDR to Revolutionize Security with Observability.
Cybereason, creators of the leading Cyber Defense Platform, today announced it is hosting an important and timely panel discussion and live stream event ‘Protecting Yourself from Cyberstalking,” on Wednesday, October 2nd, 12:00pm -1:00pm ET from its headquarters in Boston. The event kicks off October’s National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Panelists include leading experts in the fields of cybersecurity, higher education and the private sector.
According to the Stalking Prevention, Awareness and Resource Center (SPARC), stalkers use many tactics including: approaching the victim or showing up in places when the victim didn’t want them to be there; making unwanted telephone calls; leaving the victim unwanted messages (text or voice); watching or following the victim from a distance, or spying on the victim with a listening device, camera or GPS.
The 16th Annual National Stalking Awareness Month is taking place in January 2020. According to the Stalking Prevention, Awareness and Resource Center (SPARC), nearly 20 percent of women and nearly 6 percent of men will experience stalking victimization at some point in their lives.
