WHAT IS MITRE ATT&CK?

MITRE's Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge (MITRE ATT&CK) is a framework for understanding how adversaries operate. Using this framework, the MITRE Engenuity team conducts a real-world evaluation each year. The ATT&CK emulation tests are performed by MITRE Engenuity, a non-profit organization that provides transparency and publicly available test data to measure the efficacy of leading cybersecurity products and solutions. These evaluations are based on the ATT&CK framework, which maps adversarial tools, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) used by malicious actors and cybercriminals. MITRE ATT&CK 101.
